"The Gallery of Vickimess is pleased to give you the award for excellence on your outstanding image titled 'Vanessa'. Thank you very much for submitting... and feel free to submit again. Keep up your fantastic artwork".
Thank you so much Vicki - awards from artists the caliber such as yourself are very much appreciated.
These two are the same drawing except that I used my computer to add a background to the one on the right. Some people might think it's sacrilegious to do something like that but hey, it's my art, right? I could've drawn the background by hand but I just wanted to show you an example of how technology can be used in art. Any comments are welcome.
A few years ago a friend in Milwaukee asked me if I could do a portrait of Alan Jackson for an auction a local radio station was having to raise money for the CAP fund (Child Abuse Prevention). I managed to get the drawing done and my friend got to meet Alan. Here's a photo of Alan looking at my drawing before he signed it, and how it looked after he did.

Welcome to my art gallery. These are a few drawings that I've done over the years and also some that I've done recently. I believe that everyone can draw... some people have a natural ability, some people have to work at it, but anyone can learn. So what if you can't draw a straight line? I can't either without a ruler. Draw what you see, and don't worry about what other people think. You may see something in a totally different way than I do, or how someone else does, but who's to say which is better? The point is that you tried, right? I hope my work will inspire you and make you want to try. Thanks for visiting my gallery - I hope you'll come back again soon. Keep drawing like nobody's watching.
Please note that all of my drawings are digitally watermarked.
